Our Client is a reputed Japanese Ship Owning Company. As a part of expanding their training needs in India, they are looking forward to hiring a smart graduate with experience in Training.

Desired Candidate profile:
Must be a graduate
Min 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Must be familiar with all courses required for various ranks and the training institutes
Positive attitude with good interpersonal and management skills

Job Description:
To co-ordinate with the crewing and technical department in planning officers as per Training Budget and Training Matrix for global officers for shore and on-board Training.
Planning New Building take-over training in the Yard by contacting various makers.
Publish the training schedule available to the officer on internal portal.
Invite officers for in house and external trainings as per officers’ location keeping in mind cost.
Look at end to end process for arranging seminars for officers worldwide.
Inviting various hotels for quotes andnegotiating with hotels for the entire event.
Assist Training Manager in creating new assessments or courses keeping in mind the Training Budget for officers.
Look at new prospective new quality training providers as per SIRE and vetting guidelines.
Monitor feedback on the training provider and courses evaluation.
Update the database for any changes regarding courses done, by the officers.
To prepare monthly report on the number of officers trained and cost utilized.
Approve of additional training expenses incurred by the officers during the training period. End to end Client invoice handing.
